What's IRC ?It's a chat thing, free to use and as old as the Internet.
Why would you want to use it ?It's an easy way to speak to someone from logFarm.net and other people who use logFarm.net software.
How does it work ?logFarm.net have already set up a channel. All you have to do is connect to it.
Once connected you could type: hello
and someone might type hello back.
The more confident might ask a question about logFarm.net software (or not).
If you just want to hang out and say nothing, you are welcome to do that too.
Okay, how do I get started ?The easiest way is point your web browser at:
In the Nickname field type a polite nickname.
In the Channels field type: #logFarm
note the '#' so: #logFarm
You will have to confirm you are human by clicking the I'm not a robot button and then tap a few pictures to show you are a person and not a trouble making machine.
You'll see a text field at the bottom of the page so you can type: hello
The channel is very casual so if a reply is not immediately forthcoming please don't take it personally, it's just that people might be doing other things. Stick around, they'll wake up eventually.
